Heroin worth an estimated €475,000 has been seized in Dublin.
The drug was found during a planned search of an apartment in the Smithfield area on Tuesday afternoon.
A man and a woman, aged in their 20s, were arrested at scene.
Both are being held under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Kevin Street and Harcourt Terrace garda stations.
The search was part of an ongoing operation targeting organised crime in the south inner city.
