ok i have been trying to set up my dreambox on 2 sattelites 30w and 28.5e via diseqc switch,i found a old global switch in my tool box conected it to dreambox,selected a-b on dreambox tried scanning and nothing,i dont know if the global switch is broken,im sure years ago you have to put the switch near the dish??but if this is the case the dishes are 40ft apart!!!
heres is what i have tried,scannining one sattelite at a time,and when connected to ex 30west the channels from 28.5 say removed service,im a bit of a noob when it comes to dreambox,has anyone got this working.
where am i going wrong.is it me??our the diseqc switch being more ancient than a gold card..lol
any help would be fantastic.
