I have bt internet and an old cable feed to house . Guessing I don’t need a splitter ? ?
no, you only need a splitter if you have more than one device connected to the cable feed
You may need a small device called forward Path attenuater 6db.
I do not know what is that
Fist you need to check your cable line is active or not
Yes I will be checking my line .
Would that 6db attenuated stop freezing issue ?
an attenuator adjusts the signal
if your power levels are correct you won't need one
if you are splitting the VM signal into 3 or 4 devices including the router, you may need a powered splitter
I have a couple of 4 dB and a 6, I’ll try the six later where on the line should it go before or after the splitter ?
With the old kv850 one had them at rear of box to allow adjustment on that.
