I have never heard of anyone supplying iptv doing 4k I would check with your supplier and if he does I would love the email so I can get in touch with him if he has hope you get it sorted all I can think of is to ask your supplier what settings you need to get the 4k because if he is doing 4k he has got to know how to set it up or every one who he supplies 4k to would be on his case

I have a VOD iptv sub that has 4k movies but I don't have a 4k TV to test but they work using perfect player on my Samsung galaxy s8. If you ftp home/root/logs you'll be able to see crash logs see if anything stands out. If you post it here make sure it doesn't include your iptv details.

Hi thanks for all the help.
i have now uploaded my log file.

Thanks

Can I ask why 4k content from Kodi works just audio. No video. Does hardware support it h264 4k. Manufacturer says it does. I can't find no info anywhere. ?

My setup open atv 6.2 iptv etc vod in my bouquets works pause etc. If it doesn't trick is hold right arrow untill box appears choose duration etc
Provider has 4k content which enables my HDR and stream 4k very good .
As for Kodi 17.6 4k content encoded in h264 4k. The manufacturer of this box is stated it has ability. I don't think it does or missing something here. I've read reports hardware can't do it .I've also read need card etc. This where I'm stuck for now.

Ps I don't use plugin s for IPTV or vod from IPTV provider.(well one to create them intially) Plugins just for. IE e2iplayer and Kodi 17.6.

My set up works perfect. Noticed though if Freeview tuner is recording and your watching iptv stream it freezes and slows down .could be my HDD or build. My old box didn't do this .

It seems like your storage media may be corrupt.
I may be completely wrong though, perhaps someone more knowledgeable can have a look.
