I've added IPK files to /tmp and /hdd and even on the root to try and get a Solo2 to install them and it just says no displayable medium found? How do I get around this?

try putting a ipk file on the root of a fat32 formated usb stick then plug it in and see what it pops up with :)
should ask if you want to install "...ipk on the usb stick"

Cheers, will give that a go.

Any idea why it won't read them off the box when previously had no issue?

Dreamexplorer is also good to install ipk's. Just click on the ipk and it will ask if you want to install it.

remeber to ensure your on a live tv Chanel with no menus open for this method to detect the .ipk file on the USB stick or it may not work.

Right. Update. I was being a pillock and I'd connected to my other box. So there was nothing wrong at all and basically I'm a tw@. [emoji23]
