Neil Lennon has refused to rule out a move to bring Craig Bellamy to Celtic this summer.

The attacker has been heavily linked with a move to Parkhead but the club’s interest appeared to have cooled, despite Celtic still being in the market for a striker.

Milos Lacny and Katlego Mphela were both under consideration as trialists but Lennon has ended his interest.

Celtic are in Dublin along with Manchester City for the Dublin Super Cup this weekend and look set to hold talks with City officials over a possible loan move for Bellamy, who spent last season in the Championship on loan at Cardiff City.

Bellamy had a half-season loan spell with Celtic in 2005, scoring nine goals in 15 games for the club, before returning to Newcastle United and subsequently being sold to Blackburn Rovers.

The 32-year-old is out of favour at the Etihad Stadium and, following the arrival of Sergio Aguero this week, looks all but certain to be on his way out.
