ET 8000 HD Client mode error

Putting my 8000 back into service but unable to get client mode to accept its IP from it to use on the Vu Zero.

My Gigablue Quad was there and used it with client mode on zero.

I have double checked IP is working on the ET as downloaded plugins NFS and Samba and both running.
Forgot i had to set logs and password and both done now
Entered box IP and Webif goes straight in
Network scan -Expert mode and enter box ip but fails drop down to mount it.

Still have issues and online flashed to 6.4.02 on both boxes and setup from scratch.

I did get my Zgemma to accept the mount for the Et 8000

Zero fails to use the Et 8000 and other box as a client mode.

All my boxes have multiple lan switch connected into them and might have to remind myself to remove and plug it straight into it.

Can switches hinder network connections even though i can use recordings and box has an IP address.
Removed switch from the zero and still the same.

Is there a set port number that could differ to allow box to connect via client mode and not throw up an error.
Network router powered off for 20mins then on as in ruling it out.
Rechecked this morning on 2 boxes and cant do client mode.


User error as previous box had an old image it did not need a password set up.
This now has to be entered into the settings of client mode.

Just in case others also have this issue.
