Considering a H.2H but have some questions

I have both a sat and cable feed coming into my house. I would like to be able to record multiple channels.

1) I presume I would have to record via sky and watch via cable for this to happen?
2) How would you switch between virgin and sky?
3) Does the epg show both provider's in the same list?

1. Record any, watch the other
2. You have two sets of channel lists (bouquets) just choose a channel and press ok
3. Epg will show what's on for you current bouquet (sly or cable)
