DM800 HD Problem

Hi Guys,
I am using a DM800 HD with SIM2-SSL84B-DM800HD-Dream-elite_BlackHole-1.33D_V3image on it.
This works great other than every morning I get up and the damn box has switched it's self into some sort
of between mode? neither off or on but fan has kicked to life and the display reads "DVB Service"

Now What is this all about?
How do I stop it (other than turning the box off again!)

I had half expected it to be the EPG (which is not that good anyway. Must look into getting a better EPG?) and after investigation in the settings I found (eventually!) The setting was set for a time and an action after update........The action had 3 choices

1 Nothing (it was set to this!)
2 Standby
3 Deep Standby (whatever that is?)

Anyway I altered it to Standby and it updated and the box went back to sleep ......So thanks for confirming what I suspected.
This is all a learning curve for me and all assistance is appreciated :-)
