On thursday, my wife got a message saying that someone has logged into her Facebook account (I don't know if this is a genuine Facebook mail as she deleted the email)
Anyway she secured her account with new password but she cannot remember it.
When we go to Facebook recovery page, we are emailed a six digit code which should then enable her to reset her password. On the very first attempt and every attempt since,she gets message telling her that she has tried too many codes.
I have followed YouTube guides and read guides from other message boards regarding deleting cookies, history etc but nothing works.
Have tried on chrome, safari and ie.
Can anyone please help!?!??
Three days this has been going on for, I got in touch with Facebook but even though it is signed from a different person each time, it is just the same generic response.

cleared all history, waited a bit, and it came up with a password reset page.
