if your posting it to anybody moggser you should just post the dvd drive, postage will cost a fortune otherwise, check out homesicks video on how to take the xbox apart :)

yes i always recommend someone do it themselves, due to the knowledge they will gain, and they feeling of accomplishment they will acquire. let use know where you want to go from here. if you don't feel comfortable doing it, i am sure we could find a way to get it done for you.

Its really not that hard to do if you can follow a guide and have some common sense. What drive is it btw?

its a 20 gig hard drive

so do i need cables and that

You dont flash the hard drive, you flash the dvd rom inside the xbox, as you never knew that, i would suggest floating aroung youtube and watching a few videos.

Look at the link below and eject your drive, let us know what drive you have, also the date it was made (on back of console). We can take it from there :

looks more like the ben Q one all though not as dark as that in the pic

and the date is 22/8/07

Ok then you can either follow the guides to jungleflasher, but for now, watch a few vids on the net, the benq is easy enough to do.
