folder

Hello on my laptop desktop when I normally right click I get a window and in there I can add a new folder ,but recently when I right click on desktop and the window opens there is no option to add a folder could you please help me sort this problem out please thanks take care

Try to do a system restore and see if that fixes the problem.

There may be a problem with the registry.

I am going to assume you are running windows 7

If the system restore does not work, click on the link and hopefully this will fix the problem.
Keep in mind you have to very careful with the registry, follow the instructions and you should be fine. (2nd post)

Hi now when I right click desktop and click on new I got briefcase is that right no folder cheers

The briefcase is used to synch files between computers.

Not sure why it didn't work, the registry can be very tricky to work with.

Try this program. File Menu Tools

Just uncheck the options you don't need after you install the program or else you will have a lot of options when you right click to make a new folder.
