H2h hardrive set up

Hi all, hope someone can help me out. I have a 1 ter seagate hardrive and I'm getting the error mount/unmount message, I must have done something wrong whilst setting it up but don't know what. I've been trying a few things but can't get rid of it. Can I go back to a fresh start on the hardrive side of things without having to scan the chanells again, if not has anyone got any ideas? Thanks

Install this plugin Willo3092 - USB Ext4 Format Plugin - Downloads - TechKings
Restart the box without the HDD connected > run the plugin and follow instructions > reboot with HDD plugged in the back > create swap file.

Thanks for the reply, without trying to sound to dumb could you explain how to do that, I've never done it before as my box came already done accept for tuning and setting up the hardrive, thanks

If you have swapfile and timeshift enabled disable them then try to initialise. If you need more help can you tell us what image your using menu, information, about
