Robbie Keane has sealed his loan move to West Ham United from Tottenham until the end of the season.
Keane: Move
Earlier Sky Sports News reported the Tottenham striker had completed a medical ahead of the proposed switch.
Now the Hammers have confirmed they have brought in the Republic of Ireland international with a view to making the deal permanent at the end of the season.
Following West Ham's FA Cup win against Nottingham Forest, chairman David Gold said: "We're delighted to sign a world class striker."
Sanction
Keane, 30, has made just seven Premier League appearances for Spurs this season after falling down the pecking order under manager Harry Redknapp.
Redknapp previously said he was only prepared to sanction a permanent move but has since changed his mind to allow Keane to switch to east London.
