Help setting up please

hey guys trying to sort out my connection to my box! i have a live virgin line going to my router so i bought a splitter (think this is where the problem is) and i have my line from outside the house going into that, then two cables going from the otherside of the splitter. one to my box and the other to my router i cant get anything at all no internet connection (tried laptop and iphone) and no search results.

you think its the splitter?

Take the splitter off and reconnect incoming cable line to router----reboot----if internet comes alive then you have your answer.

Cheers reaper yeah that still works but then I can't get a connection to my box then need that feed to go to my box

Buy the correct splitter and ensure your two connecting cables are good.
Just another obvious question---what box you got?

Bought a new splitter just fitted it tested it all for Internet connection works fine now.
Now I can't get any channels when I do a search :/ I'm using vskin on a edision OS mini

Do you have your cable net ID in ABM and tuner provider set to 6592? I don't believe the ID is needed in tuner config but safer to put in there too.
