Hevc on Mag 256

I cant seem to play any hevc streams on my Mag 256W1. All I get is a black screen with broken audio. I thought the 256 was supposed to be hevc supported. Is anyone else having this problem?

Mag 254 plays hevc so 256 should.Is it on the latest firmware.

Thanks for the reply. Yes on the latest firmware. One of my providers has VOD with 1080 and 4k hevc. All work well on my backup minix box running 4.4.2 but no go for either on my mag.

Must be a supplier issue, I've mag 254,322,256 and no issues

The suppliers hevc streams play fine on an android box so can it still be a supplier issue? Im not tekky enough to be sure
