I've read posts on here a while back with people saying ISP has sent them letters etc. I just dont want to take the risk. its like £5 per month so its not particularly expensive

Sly are my isp and not heard a peep from them with regards to any online activity. A lot of things published in the press with regards to sites like pirate Bay, kodi boxes etc are just scare mongering. If your IPTV requires it for 3pms etc fair enough but otherwise I would bin it. On your PC I understand.
