MEGA IPTV up and running

Not so much a question, but just some info.

I got IPTV up and running on my OS Mega.
Separate IPTV bouquets, similar to how sly are setup.
full epg and pions working.
It took a while, from what i can tell it is a slow process. I used echannelizer and filezilla to do it.

Box seems well able for it. Still playing with the AV settings to see what is best. I've not used IPTV before this, but it does look like a stream as apposed to directly via a dish, but nothing noticeable.

Hi Illdoit,
Have an OS Mega on order (have Alien 2 at mo).
Good to here you have the IPTV up and running successfully.
Would you have the details on the steps needed?

I followed a few different guides, it is quite time consuming and repetitive.

I used echannelizer to import the m3u file my IPTV provider sent me on to my Mega.
There is a good guide here on what has to be done to get EPG and picons working.
I did keep my original bouquets which did help when it came to editing the DVB services, i was able to drag and drop in echannelizer, saved a bit of time instead of searching each time.

Best of luck with it.

Drag and drop doesn't that replace the iptv channels with sky?

Is it possible to have to Windows open for easy converting

Just got an email from my cs provider asking if I want a bargain iptv sub .
Suggests that the race to the bottom is on and buyer beware .iptv needs bandwidth not bulls@#t
