I finally managed to flash ItalySAT 8 and install softcam:

How does compare to vix and ATV ?

I only really got it up and running yesterday so not tested thoroughly yet but I really like it so far, particularly the iDreamy skin.Connected to NAS no problem but it throws a wobbly if you change the hostname and thinks your running it on a cloned box.They have their own swap manager, EPG Importer and clear mem already built in.I couldn't get any version of CrossEPG to work but EPG Importer works fine anyway.I only really struggled installing the softcam which is in a hidden menu which is enabled by downloading an ipk.So far so good anyway and makes a nice change.
