hi guys i have just purchased an acekard 2i and need the firmware to load onto it,i do not intend to use this on a dsi i am just sticking with my lite.i am used to usung an R4 card that has the latest firmware on byt as u may well know it wont play the latest games so this is why i have gone for the acekard2i.do i need to formatt the micro sd card that came with it?if someone could help with a step by step guide it would be helpfull thankyou.

Hi Spike24,firstly welcome to the acekard you will find it faster and easy to use,the first post has the most upto date firmware just unzip it to your formatted card,the loader above your post works all the newest releases just unzip it to your aio/loader folder

the firmware is the akaio 1.5 in the first post,that also has the loader from the 27-11-09 with it,grab that download and unzip the akaio1.5 to your micro sd,then get the newest loader the 14-12-09 and put that in your aio folder(when you unzip the 1.5 firmware you will have a aio folder and akmenu,open the aio folder and you will see a folder named loaders,put the latest loader in there)there is a new loader quite often to keep up with the new games

What is the difference between this and the official acekard firmware.once I do have this loaded do I need to create a games folder to put the games in.

this looks better and is constantly updated and runs faster,yes you do need to create a games folder,i just named mine games,you can run any size of micro sd card in it,i have 2 with 8gb cards in them,i havent tried a 16gb yet or 32gb yet but intend to

been using for over a year now,only problem was waiting for the update when the dsi firmware 1.4 was released,its a great card i recommend them to everyone,i will post the new loaders as they are released and you wont have any bother with the new games

Cheers thanks I am going to attempt it tommorow so hopefully all will go well.so download the first 1.5 firmware and then the latest loader.hopefully I won't mess it up thanks,oh I will not be using on a dsi anyway so that is no problem to me.

I forgot or just assumed people would know what to do with the loaders,in your firmware on the micro sd card called aio there is a folder called loaders,just extract/un zip the loader to the folder called loader,you will probably be asked should you replace just say yes,this has fixed more of the new releases,any bother just shout
