Edit: now can pause after around 20 mins. However every time I change channel I get error message saying something of " creating hardlink to time shift file failed"
Where does timeshift record to? Hard drive, USB or microsd. I think the 'failed to create hard link' error usually refers to the file system on the target drive being wrong or corrupted.
I've always used Ext4 and never had a problem..... touch wood!
