Hello,

I recently brought a clone DM800HD and installed the blackhole 2.1.1 which has the MGcamd 1.38 built into the image. The provider has kindly provided the newcamd.list beginning with "CWS" rather than "N:". My question to the expert is the following: which folder should I FTP the newcamd.list file and what other changes do I need to make in order to setup MGcamd correctly so I can receive premium channels.

Hi, you FTP to VAR/KEYS folder and place the newcamd.list there, you will also need a mg_cfg file in the same folder (VAR/KEYS) make sure its there when you look to insert newcamd file.

My newcamd.list looks same as above. Is there any other information I must add to the file before FTP?

The default newcamd.list in var/keys contain the default values:

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
CWS = 192.168.1.1 20000 dummy dummy 10 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14 lan server1
CWS_MULTIPLE = 192.168.1.2 20000:20005 dummy dummy 10 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14 lan server2

Where do I add my CWS line?
 
On the example that ends " lan server2" put cursor there and press return/enter to create a new line below, paste your CWS line there, press save and make sure it uploads to your box.

Yes, just leave the other file alone....once you have entered newcamd quit filezilla and restart mgcamd on your box and it should clear
