Dave 100, the code worked, I'm so grateful for your help. I noticed that the aerial connection is something I'm not used to seeing. It looks like its welded/soldered to a metal part of the vehicle but it has or appears to have broken off so the CD is fine but the radio is not working. I need to pull it again and sort out that connection
