My road to multi sat (motor)

Install my new lnb and I got a 4% increase as sites

But I think I need to tilt my dish a bit more to get more signal, when I was moving about I got up to 89% from 70%

But I still need time to mess with it

are you still using 19 as your centre point, and taking all your base readings from that.?

No need to make everything stronger
As when I was setting it up. My old h2s was reading 99% with of the chart noise
But when I went to my h7c it was way down.

So I need to redo it all

get 19.2 as best as you can, as its middle,
then move 28 in until its as good as possible, then move your bracket up/down for best signal,
recheck 19, if still good then go to 13,

EDIT you will get 28 for a large part of movement, so check quite a few different TPs on it,
13 will be your weakest sat, with quite a few weak TPs

It was hard checking with just the one lnb
So the rest will be here tomorrow

Will try again on friday. Think I need to tilt my dish more

As I can put them brackets on upside down if I need to

you dont need them upside down,
I have that bracket,
looking at dish face on, 19 is to the right, with the bracket so the actual LNB is slewed to the left and close to centre point,
but, you will NOT get a good signal on 13 unless 19 is a bullet LNB, [or 13 ] , but 19 is better as bullets are lower gain and its centre so not so much to lose
have you looked at the picture of my bracket.?

Just saying I could
I’m sure it won’t do anything but worth a test lol

think about a snooker ball bouncing off a cushion,
the angle will be way above any satellite out there
unless of course, maybe you are trying to communicate with the spacestation, or some Martian satellite maybe, ;)

Just checked Euro news there getting 52% but there is no jumping or anything

Would have thought that would have been bad there. But I’m sure a windy night will tell more

on what sat.?

some of my TPs on 13 are only about 50-60% , but no issues with picture quality

I Only have 28 wired up. It was always low, even when bbc was at 99%

Only have one lnb and it’s on 28 at the min

Oh I know that lol
Some reason amazon thought it would be great to send just the one at first then the other three later

Any plugins needed

If its the t.d Series multi l.n.b bracket
For your satellite There is a reference table
For the position of each l.n.b For example
if you are in belfast l.n.b 2 which is 19.2 east +X would be 27mm from the centre screw off the adaptor clip which fits into the dish to the edge off the little clip which
Holds the l.n.b onto the bracket l.n.b 1 which is 13 east +x mm would be 90mm
From the centre screw to the edge off the
small clip which holds the l.n.b on So you
Could measure and mark the centre off all
The l.n.bs Have them positioned on the bracket and tilt the bracket up 5°

never thought of tables and marking the bar.
is there tables for the standard oval 80cm dish?

Yes td 78cm which would be roughly the same as the 80cm td 88cm td 110 All have different distances for different sizes off satellites

Satellite Data
Name: 28.2E, 19.2E(c), 13E
Distance: 39194km

Dish Setup Data
Elevation: 23.7°
Azimuth (true): 149.9°
Azimuth (magn.): 153.2°
Dish Skew [?]: 73.8°

So I was just looking up on dishpointer so see what I could learn. No idea what I’m learning lol
