unrar and ftp to usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions

play and record iPlayer

This plugin will only work for users inside the UK or with a UK ip
recording directory /hdd/movie

download and unzip

and ftp the folder

BBC-iPlayer-Recorder

to

usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions

and restart enigma2



you will need to have a HDD on your box to use it
as it downloads fragments to a tmp file which are to big for the flash tmp directory on the box
the fragments are deleted when you exit the stream
everything you watch can be recorded
you can record a stream and watch a different stream at the same time
infact you can record as many streams as you like at the same time


everytime you start the plugin it downloads a new list
so wait 10 seconds for the plugin to start

Excellent - Cheers buddy

No problem just make sure you have a mounted USB/HDD for the extension as the flash memory on most boxes won't be enough to stream/record using the app.

Anyone know of if you can change the recording path on Davvos iplayer recorder? I have my box set to record to network storage but every time I use Davvos iplayer it messes up my bookmarks as it forces to record to USB stick in the box... Any help appreciated

Hi.

I just put the BBC iPlayer recorder onto my OpenVix box. It does not owrk on the Hades image and only shows me a list of options on the OpenVix box.

Whenever I select anything it gives me a blank page.

So the program is useless. I need a proper working BBC iPlayer for Enigma 2 but no luck.

Also, where can I find a plugin with the live streams on it?

OK I tried the BBC Iplayer as well and no this does not work either.

All I get is a list of channels and catagories and an option to Exit or About.

There are no actual streams in the py file so it won't do anything. How can I amend the py file and where would I put the live stream for this to work?
