only fta working

hi my box was working away fine but since friday only the fta channels are working? my dads box works fine when i connect it up in my house but no joy with mine. any ideas what could be wrong? box says its connected to internet and nothing seems wrong

Try rebooting box and router that some times works

Have you tried leaving router off for 5 mins try that

yes left router off for 5 mins but no joy! when i went into do the network test for the lan connection the DHCP is saying disabled. could this be my problem?

Go into softcam manager and restart your cam

yes i did that but no difference.it is the mgcamd that was ticked green the other ccam wasnt ticked so i restarted the ticked one

It could be your line is down then,did you set the box up your self

no got it from a fella. he says line is up and fine

Thats an old fraggle skin he has put on your box so might have been doing boxes for a while,are you using openvix or atv

How have you checked your internet connection is working on the box

menu,information,network and green light at bottom was on. is this correct?

If DCHP is Off Switch it on, reboot router, reboot box

IF using homeplugs Make sure they are Paired

Check the back of the box and you should have 2 lights flashing,Go into plugins and press green button and see if plugins download

The plugins wont download on the patched version of Vix on the 2s

They still do on some of the older firmware tich and looking at the old fraggle skin it could be an old backup
