openbox on sky q lnb

Was wondering if an Openbox, Zgemma...etc that has been set up on a normal dish could then be taken to someone who has Sky Q and used by them?
I understand, I think, that one cable carries horizontal signal and the other vertical so would you connect whichever cable depending which channel you want to watch. I'm asking this as I was going to let someone borrow on of my boxes to watch the match and they've just had sky q installed.
 
It would not work on a sky Q lnb There is a lnb that does both but unless you ask when fitting they wont install it
 
Does the lnb just clip on? Would it be easy enough to undo the cables and swap the lnb for a 4 way while they borrow the box, then swap the lnb back?
 
Yes no problem make sure make note of angle on the side of lnb
