Openbox V8s----Web Tv

Sumtimes does that to me as well but if I know wot channel I wanna watch then I'm fine with it I'm still looking on how to stop it from doin that

I had my v8s come today, set it up easily, i noticed the webtv wasnt that great!

I have a paid subs with an iptv provider that i use with kodi, so the m3u8 link they gave me, i loaded up into windows VLC player, then saved it as a playlist, saved as Webtv.m3u.
Copied the file to usb stick
Menu-upgrade by usb
Mode-misc files
Select and upgrade
Choose webtv.m3u option
Press yellow
Exit
Reboot

Webtv with my personal iptv added like a treat.

Tried this word for word, I must be missing something cos 3 hours later I still can't get it to run. Got as far as all channels on box but they all show as no name & every time you press play to stream nothing happens other than 0 kbps to the right of the screen. Got the latest firmware on, everything setup ok so would seem but ziltch happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Any users managed to watch anything using this App on their V8s ?
Tried multi channels but nothing works ?
Youporn doesn't work either but the weather app does so that's a relief !

Hi yes got webtv on my v8s it was rank at first kept freezing but now it works perfectly now no buffering i altered my virgin box settings to accept 5mpbs thats all..

i have iptv sub channels working on openbox v8s no problem but the problem i am having is all the channels have no name can any1 help? also is there anyway of having the channels catagorised so i dont have to scroll through all channels
