Oscam For Openvix Guide.

Hi, struggling with this, it connected briefly once and then no more.
My log:

Any ideas what could be wrong? I've followed the guide to the letter. And also tried a different known to be working config, with the same result.
 
What does your reader look like ?

Just wanted to add, what a great and easy to follow tutorial. I've had limited success with oscam previously, so gave up.
Tried your config files and followed the instructions and it worked 1st time !

Thx for the guide, I got oscam installed OK and FTP'd the config files to /etc/tuxbox
Not sure if this is the correct topic for my question but I am running oscam on OpenViX so ihopefully it's OK? I hope to use oscan with a softcam file for PVu and biss but have no idea how to set it up. I assume I need a softcam file and place it somewhere on the receiver but not sure where and where to get a softcam file from for my needs?

If you explain a bit further, you'll get plenty of help, what box and which build are you using?
Also what format is/was your line in when you go it? - have you converted it to oscam already?

I am not using a card or a line. What I hope to do is install a softcam.key file and possibly an oscam EMU patch and use them for the PVu and biss channels received from my satellite dish. My understanding is that oscam if properly configured with an oscam EMU patch and a softcam.keys file can clear the PVu and biss channels without the use of a card or a line?

I am using an Edision Nino Pro receiver running OpenVIX v5.2.017. I installed oscam using the receiver online method "Menu -> Plugins -> Download Plugins". I selected the version named "oscam-latest (1.20+svn11420-r1)". The oscam version did not contain any config files so I download the config files from this topic and FTP'd them to the receiver. I am now stuck and do not know how to proceed with the oscan EMU patch or the softcam.keys file.

Any help most appreciated.

I'm afraid this is beyond my capabilities, if you are using a motorised dish, you might be better off asking in the motorised section as it's all a bit technical
 
I have oscam all working fine and setup from a C line with unlimited connections.

My question is how do you share this line to other people on oscan, and as the source is a c line does that mean I'd have to share c lines or would there be a way to be able to share as Mgcamd?

Struggling for a couple of days to get Oscam working on my MutantHD51. I have followed gmangt4 guide but I can not connect to the Oscam interface with my computer. I have tried 192.168.1.XX:9000 and nothing. Also with 8888 and 83. Chrome browser says " the site can't be reached". I have three Oscam plugins downloaded and I have stopped them and unticked them before I start them. The problem is the receiver says "no config files found please set up Oscam first". So, diverting a bit from the guide, I have FTP my oscam.server file (with my c lines converted to Oscam format) to the box via FileZila. But nothing, I can but start any Oscam, the system says "no config files found" and I believe that's why I probably can't connect to the Oscam interface. Does anyone know how to resolve this please? Thanks.

yes, simply you are missing other very important files from the oscam folder.

here are your best options. flash / download a fresh new image. there is a choice of willobuild, grogbuild or wooshbuild. willo is vix based. woosh is atv, grog is choice of both. (make sure you have a copy of your line)
I guess you didn't follow the guide in the willobuild toolkit correctly? info guides in softcams and lines, and the missing files you need for oscam are also there, how could you not see them, did you download the toolkit?
