It’s the same for a lot of people. It’s the start of the Sky sports HD channels going dark.

...but you are going to lose them shortly. so enjoy your pixelated version while you can

Not sure there was any need for this, you were probably correct in that his line was probably to blame but throwing comments like this about helps no one.
To the OP: try a new test line and if it's no better try a different softcam, but i'm confident that a new line would probably solve most of your problems

try a C line and use CCcam2.3.0 softcam to open it, also, check the splitter (try a new one from Screwfix) and check the router logs to see if the power levels are ok

I will ask for a c line as I have a n line at the moment, it could be the connections cos I have just had my router moved by virgin to another part of the house

If you have run a long cable from router to the box, this will be the problem, CATV needs short runs of cable, if you extend it, the signal degrades

the power levels may be off, on the side or bottom of the router there should be a 'settings password'
type 192.168.0.1 into a browser and click enter, use that password to log into the router

then go to: advanced settings
tools>network status> click on downstream tab
copy and paste the snr and dbmv data here

If the power levels are fine, I would look at a new splitter, Labgear from Screwfix are about the easiest to get hold of at short notice...anything sold by Maplins, B&Q etc is useless for CATV

those all look ok, so it looks like the splitter could be the problem, but there's also a possibility the softcam is a duffer, try a C line or download a new mg-cfg softcam from the downloads section

Pixelation issues like that are generally signal problems as others have stated, either temporary problem in your area or splitter/connection/signal issues or even image/image setup/ and /or box tuner issues, however it wont do any harm trying another testline but i would recommend oscam emu over mgcamd or cccam.

No...thats power pass enabled..not required for VM.. ebay will have them, qamtex or technetix
