Playback recordings through open webif

Is this possible

To watch a recording on a pc via openwebif for something that has been recorded to the usb connected to the box

yes, there is a stream section on the left hand menu. click movies and it shows the recordings list. There is a little tv symbol next to each recording. Click on that and it will download an m3u file to your pc. Double click that and it should open in the default media player.
