Family member got an email off sly telling him to stop sharing a specific movie via show box, he was watching via the torrent button and not there servers.

They knew exactly when and what he was watching. I would refrain from torrenting on the app.

It's a shame as it's been a brilliant app over the years on my mxq box.

I use a vpn for torrents. I only seed to the value of 2 now.. where as before I would seed for months . Since iptv though. Decent vod.. I don't d/load that much..

So its better to watch series on app and not to download from their link as i wondered about that? i dont use torrents or vpn.

Most definitely protect yourself as you see fit .. times are changing.

Since using a vpn . I have not had no hassle. If they wanted me I think they could find me.. private trackers and vpn work for me for now.

Really don't understand why anyone uses torrents nowadays, all too much hassle and draws attention to yourself. I know streaming has the potential for problems, but it's the safer option in my opinion.

Torrents have their own port making it stand out if no vpn
Ddl comes up as internet traffic, won’t get a look at

I d/load torrents to fill HDD up then share when I am offshore. Few guys just can't d/load files I suppose.

The family member wasn't clued up and a direct link from the server wasn't available so he clicked on the torrent button.

It scared the crap out of him when he received the email from sly but told him not to worry.

Not sure how long show box will last , it's been brilliant over a number of years but obviously has begun to cause issues with ISP s

I use Terrarium more than Showbox, seems to have a lot more content and is easier to navigate.
But you've got to use your brains and get a VPN, what you're doing is illegal!!! And it's not expensive, I use NordVPN it was £75 for 3 years, it's always in the top 3 vpns in any survey and you can put it on 6 different devices and they don't save information about you.
It's all about piece of mind.
