Slow changing channels

I disconnected my ethernet last night for a couple of hours, since putting it back in changing premium channels is really slow, can take 2-3 minutes on some, some just stay as a blank screen. I have restarted mg cam, restarted the box and restarted the router but still no difference. Does anyone have any ideas? Is the problem likely to be with the box or the line provider end?
