The return of movies in HD?

Just saw this article and it says 'Set to roll out to customers from July 8, Sky Cinema will also offer HD movies as standard – bye bye, ageing standard definition'. Wonder if this means the HD movie channels will start clearing again: Sky Movies is being killed off as shiny new Sky Cinema service is announced

Sky is promising a new movie premiere each day, a greater library of on demand titles, and “better HD picture and sound quality”. HD will be offered as standard to all Sky Cinema customers on the Sky and Virgin Media platforms, while Sky Q customers will get their first taste of Ultra HD before the end of the year.

I guess the worry is that if the HD channels continue not clearing and Sky scrap the SD channels we will lose all movies :-(

Never happen as they would have to replace every sd sky box for free which would cost a hell of a lot....HD won't come back to us till they concentrate on 4k and the hackers get through the decriptoon of HD channels
