Timeshift problems

I have just set up my hs2 following kiddacs excellent bare bones guide using the latest openatv 5.1 build. Everything is working fine with the exception of time shift. When i pause, it appears to work, but I can't play. Pressing the play button has no affect, and the only thing that I can use is the stop button. This seems to take me back to live TV, but leaves the pause symbol on screen.

I can't see anything in the timeshift settings that could be causing this. Anyone able to help?
 
Instead of pressing the "play" button, have you tried to press the "pause" button instead, just to see if that "unpauses" it, just a thought...
 
Thanks for the replies. Very strange but it has now started working! The only thing I can think that I have done is to actually play a programme recorded earlier today. I can now pause live TV, play fast forward etc!
There is a setting in the recording settings to set the effect of the play/pause buttons, and I wonder if playing the recording activated this.
