Yeah TS media does a good job too but it is just that wee bit trickier to download content from it, but yes better than nothing, if and when the E2i player finishes.

Yea, Ts media works to a fashion but it's no replacement for e2i player tbh.

I too am gutted about e2iplayer.i only used that for 2 years.i gave up kodi because iplayer was better.so im asking is there another way to get a good servuce like this.even if its with another box.thanx for any help you can give.
I flashed a box last night and noticed that but not had a chance to try it yet.

No update on zgemma......
I did a clean flash of vix on a sf8008. Try reinstalling the E2iplayer plugin
there is a link in my signature, note that if using a h2h/h2s there are issues with atv feeds and plugins such as abm aren't installing so might be holding off a day or two.
I flashed a zgemma h52tc and it has version 2019-01-20 so it is updated since the previous on there which said no updates was 2018-12-16.

filezilla open usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extentions/iptvplayer/delete "version.py" then copy version.py u downloaded to dir.

Cheers celticfc. Good workaround and quicker than a reflash. Nice to have some of family favourites , Yiffy, HD Cartoon etc back and updated.

I have downloaded the new version.py file and ftp'ed it to my box with filzilla. When I restart the app the version is saying 2019.01.20 but when I hit the green arrow to update the app it is still saying no update available?? Should it update when I hit the update icon? Thanks.

i dont think u need to update it, i thinkl it does what it has to do automatic,

yeah got it downloaded and transfered to the right location, but its still the old version showing on, then, re booted box and ended up with an even older version on
