Vu+ Solo2 Set-Up Help Required.

Hey guys,

got my new Vu+ Solo 2 Box yesterday flashed with Vix.

I'm having trouble setting up the MGCAMD. I've managed to set up softcams with 1.35 but cant get 1.38 to install.

I've put the 2 files provided for the N Line in to usr/keys and i'm not getting a picture for the channels only a few free view ones.

It says 1.35 is running but

can anyone help me?

You need to ftp to your box both the mg_cfg file and the newcamd.list file.
Both are available via downloads.
Then edit your newcamd.list file with your details.
Changing the n at the start and replacing it with CWS=.

Thanks for the reply Delboy. I've done this but with no success. I know the line works as it works on another box, just to confirm, they do go in the usr/keys folder?
 
Yes they do.
Did you download the 2 files from here?
If not maybe delete your existing files and try again.
There seems to be a faulty mg_cfg file around.
The ones from downloads works fine.

One more question... I know, im a total noob!

I've now managed to get that to work, however, only a certain number of channels are working. a lot of them (most) just come up with a black screen. Any idea on that one?

if you are only getting certain channels make sure you are running one mgcamd or cccam dont run both together cheers davd
 
I think the problem lies with me running MGCamd 1.35a. I've tried to run 1.38c but it says it is unable to install as it already exists, yet in softcam it doesnt exist. Im not sure what to do.

Where can i get boquets for sky?
