What is the differnce in Carling 1.02 and 1.03?

hi,can anyone tell me what the difference is between carling 1.02 & 1.03.
just trying to understand as new to this.

1.03 is the latest firmware for the sv

Does it make a difference as mine freezes a lot with 1.02
