Mitch Winehouse - A donation from every copy of daughter Amy's posthumous album sold in Ireland is to be made to LauraLynn House in Dublin

The late singer's father Mitch Winehouse made the announcement during a visit to the hospice this morning.

For every album sold in Ireland, the Euro equivalent of a pound sterling will be donated to the hospice.

The original plan had been to donate money from albums sold between now and the end of the year, but after visiting LauraLynn House this morning Mitch Winehouse extended the donation to cover every copy of the album sold.

CEO of LauraLynn House Philomena Dunne said the donation would make an "unbelievable" difference to the lives of the children attending the hospice.

Mitch Winehouse set up the Amy Winehouse Foundation after his daughter's death and much of the money raised is being given to children's charities which he said were very close to her heart.
