wireless usb adapter installation

hi, installing belkin 802.11g wireless g usb network adapter on compaq armada e500 running win 2000 professional and I come across the following..The file "rt73.sys" on wireless 11g usb installation disk is needed...Type the path where the file is located, and then click ok. What can I do please?

Download this driver & install it on the PC.

I checked it for viruses and its ok.

You`ll need winrar to extract it.

..thanks did that.. now I am trying to type the path where the file is located and click ok so I type..C:\Program Files\Ralink and click ok.. "ping"nothing happens, very frustrating what am I doing wrong? Thanks.. I'm off to bed its driving me nuts!

doesnt it show a default path? never had to type it in before.
