A woman has died after falling from a fairground ride at the O2 arena last night.
Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman at a fairground ride at the O2 last night.
It's understood the 31 year old woman who was from the West of Ireland may have gotten on the ride with her cousin after attending the Britney Spears concert and fallen out.
Part of the Garda inquiry will establish why the ride was operating however officers have been told that the rain had stopped at the time just after eleven o' clock.
A forensic examination of the scene is being carried out and the area has been cordoned off.
