I just setup openvix .. First time using it.

All the stations are all over the place..

How do I get them all into there categories ( like normal $ky) ?

great box I have the xtrend et8000............goto menu..........plugins.......press green to download .......goto extensions........press ok on autobouquets-E2

can post a picture of the settings if you struggle

OK.. i'm only getting back to finishing this now.. i've been so busy.. but my mate is looking for his box !!

Before I get into trying to fix this issue I need to ask / find out if what i'm looking for it possible. ... maybe i'm looking for something thats not possible on this box.. I don't know.

I have a Zgemma s2 box.. I know it's different.. but I think i heard they are made by same people .. or software is nearly the same.. i'm not sure.

What I'd like is for my mates 9500 to work the same as the zgemma.

When I Press the EPG on my remote I get Options / Categories like Sports / Movies / Documentary / UK Entertainment / ROI Entertainment etc .. and if I clicked into Sports for example I would see Sky Sports news / 1 /2/3/4/5 F1 / BT / epsn etc and so on.. So for Movies.. all movie stations are listed under movies.

The EPG would also be showing the full weeks TV.

But it's not like this on the 9500.. is this possible on it ? I've been trying a few things .. but can't get it working..

Would anyone have an images / back up I could use ?

thanks for that.. I got it working.

2 Questions

1) How can i hide HD stations.. they don't work.. so I don't need them there.
2) The EPG is still not populating... how can I get all the content to be there ?

I normally do a manual import using XMLTV-Importer.. but that doesn't work on this box..

In Setup I have
System
Service Searching
Parental control
Factory Reset
VIX

If I go into System -- I then see EPG.... but in there I don't see Providers

it says "Parsing Events" for a while now.. is this correct ?

I only have one provider selected.. UK.. there was Virgin Media .. I don't have that selected.
