Problem is openvix dont support zgemma boxes and never did but members here do patched images for those boxes, just need to find out from who.

Openvix willobuild 5.1 series

Check that the hdd is mounted and formatted correctly.

MENU > SETUP > VIX > MOUNT MANAGER

Should be mounted as /media/hdd and formatted as ext4 R/W
If it was the build more people would have experienced this problem.

That happens when I press the file list on remote control when the stick is mounted or unmounted this also happens when I press planner button in epg

That looks like a skin issue, try switching to simple ten eighty and try it again
How do I do that mate

MENU > SETUP > USER INTERFACE > SKIN SETUP > SKIN

select the skin and green button to save.

I turn the power off before I take it out and I initialise when I put it back in

You shouldn't need to remove the usb once it's initialised. If the box thinks your using a different usb it will allocate a new mount point.
You can copy stuff to and from the stick over your PC network.
