zGemma H.2S - update formatted my USB?

Hi Was trying to set up my zGemma box. Could not get it to work. As part of my 'trying' I decided to update either software or drivers. There was an error message that said 'if I update this, the box may not work'. But I had little to lose (I thought). Well anyway, the box won't now flash from that USB drive. I can see nothing on it from my computers - neither XP or Vista.

So I decided to download OpenVIX onto naother USB. This has flashed and I now have the box set up. However, my line is on the old USB - the one I appear to have fried.

So my question is - is there any hope for the old USB, or at least getting the line from it?
I've looked within the box itself. There are no files CCCcam nor Newcam within the kays folder.

So I guess I'm asking - am I buying another line?
