    Driver Genius is very handy also as you don't have to a backup before you reinstall windows, it knows what hardware you have on there. I have it if you need it Eva.

    hey eva,if the drivers dont do it i beleive microsoft still offers free email support for xp.when my sound went down it wasnt the drivers.microsoft support walked me thru it and it wasnt hard at all.
