hi all i have a 4 yr od boy a 11 yr old girl and shall i get an xbox or ps3 i heard the xbox is the best for children if i have thw xbox flashed will the kinect work thanks

yes the kinect will work if you flash the drive but not all slims can be flashed drives that

To be honest if you are going for a new device dont bother with flashing unless you are willing to stay offline from xbox live, its just too much hassle especially if you are going to be relying on someone else to do it for you. im not sure what the story is with the PS3 but i do believe the kinect is better than the playstation move. Also the kinect 2 is in the pipeline.

And with only deciding to get a console now, no matter what console you get there will plenty of pre-owned and platinum games that you will be able to buy legit for next to nothing so am sure the kids will not get bored game wise.
