I'm thinking about getting my slim j-tagged.If i do, will i still be able to play my backup discs via the dvd drive or will i only be able to use a hdd with isos extracted onto it? Also is xbox live totaly off limits once the j-tag has been done?

This video is literally all i know of it, i know nothing of jtagging the xbox and probably never will.
Ideally, its better to have two xboxs if you are into modding them these days.
One for legit online play and the other for flashing, jtagging and so on.

Absolutely, this jtag business should be done by someone that knows what their doing, even at that some knowledge of your own will be needed for applying updates and such to the console.
