Does anyone know a workaround for making payment for peacock?
Tried on the website using a VPN but no joy, without VPN it's telling me peacock is not available in my country (Ireland).

Yes you can pay with Apple-id If you’re an iPhone user. Check out the peacock thread. Don’t know about android

Yes I would assume a VPN is needed. Also need to create an american Apple-id and add funds to it.

When using apple ID which in this case will need to be a US one ...you won't need a vpn when purchasing subscription but will need it when viewing via the app.

They take PayPal if you use VPN and give a generated zipcode.

The startimes app with vpn set to Nigeria or ghana can give you free access to sporty tv which has premier League rights with English commentary. Not sure on how many games they have but show a lot of German, Spanish and Italian football also.
