WooshBuild LCD showing -00- after flashing WB Infinity

Your image must be corrupt. The only solution is to flash anew and not install any backup settings or plugins and take it one step at a time to get it how you want it.
Whenever we update anything in enigma we have to be prepared for things to go wrong and have a recovery method.

it was missing before any updates. this has nothing to do with updating anything.
this was a clean install of OATV6.4 then wooshbuild and it was missing from that point, and not possible to install.

well considering that's wooshbuild that installed everything that isn't part of the base OATV6.4 install then it should pretty obvious to YOU.
however, feel free to step away.

others have mentioned the same thing happening, so i guess we ALL have corrupt images.
or maybe it's because the version of the plugin that wooshbuild tries to install isn't compatible with the hardware that the H9 combo has?

This is my last reply Chenks, instead of bitching to people who are trying to help you and wasting time
Ive given you advive on what to try as ive done it all today myself on my box zgemma h9 twin which runs the same firmware as yours
.just try a clean reflash.

I come on here to read and learn new stuff about these enigma 2 boxes and try and help/offer advice if i can,im no expert but you learn from your mistakes.
What pisses me off is when someone asks for help then the answers come thick and fast and then a bitchfest starts,
Sorry for the rant but i think this isolating is getting to me:LOL:

the thread (i believe) is about the vdfplugin not installing, so far i've not seen an answer to resolve that.
the two versions linked to in this thread didn't work, which was fed back to the person that provided the links.

i installed it, but nothing seemed to happen.
it said installed ok (no errors), but no mention options showing, and doesn't show in the installed plugins list.
Well I tried to install both versions of vfd control that Willo3092 posted and they will not install.

I had also unninstalled permanent VFD Clock first and I still have access to LED display setup menu option .

Running OpenATV6.4 with wooshbuild v10.000 Zgemma H9 Combo I have always had LED display setup menu option , I had only tried permanent VFD Clock to see if I could get more options.

No Option to change time format in permanent VFD Clock.

That isn't permanent VFD clock, it's vfdcontrol.

Evening,
I've searched the site and could only find a single other instance of this problem but there wasn't a solution - WooshBuild - Wooshbuild Infinity Support Thread.
I'm running ATV 6.2 and WB10. I'm sure when I was on WB6 there was a setting in Setup/Usage&GUI/Display that allowed you to display the time on the front of the box but there's nothing similar in the "STB Display" secttion on Infinity. This is my primary clock in the living room so I'd love to have it back, is there a plug-in missing? I only have <default> in the "LCD Skin Setup" section, is there supposed to be another option in there?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

The original plugin is vfdcontrol but apparently ATV have dropped it from the feeds. I don't use ATV so can't confirm this.

I'm pretty sure the vfd control was dropped in openatv 6.3 as I asked that question a while ago when setting up the old h2s,I think some of the clock issues are with the skywb skin,I use kiddacs and have no issues on the h9twin using 6.4 nd infinity.

I think Chenks has already tried Kiddac's Slyk1-HD-R19 skin because he was asking on the LinuxSat forum why the toppicks weren't updating.
All working on ViX anyway

The image I posted is of vfdcontrol. I have never installed or used Permanent VFD clock.
You don't get it the images I posted were the same plugin on OpenATV and it is called Permanent VFD clock it's probably their version of vfdcontrol.
