IPTV quality

Fairly new to this. Have tried a couple of IPTV providers but quality of picture does not directly impress me. I have a 65" 4K tv so bad picture sucks. Are there any difference in quality from provider to provider. If there is any recommandations (on PM maybe)

Tnx

99% of my streams are in full 4k at minimum of 60 frames per second.

The other 1% are usually 1080p

Seriously though, your internet speed and what you 're watching on will make a difference, but most of its down to provider. Get loads of tests, but if youre after 4k better sticking with Sly Q box.

I do have a symetrical 50mb line. Running Nvidia Shield with TiviMate app, so hardware and connetion should be fine ...

Mate it's iptv if you want top quality on your 65-inch TV subscribe to Virgin or sky

Varies between providers. I had a trial once where the ITV FHD channel was actually only SD. Take trials to compare.

Not for one second suggesting you’re exaggerating or being liberal with the truth but having tried 30+ providers over the last 18 months forgive me for being sceptical.

Granted there’s a lot of “UHD” channels but the reality tends to be they’re 1080p masquerading as 4K.

If you can convert a sceptic I’d be grateful.

If you have a sheild and a decent provider turn on 4k upscaling you should get excellent picture quality. The sheild dose a much better job of upscailing than a tv due to its processor power.

IPTV quality is never got be FULL HD with bandwidth required.

Also quality can be more visible on such a big tv compared to smaller type TV.

Dont know how it is for non 4k TVs though.

For example on big TV over 50" SD quality on sly FTA channels is rubbish imo so can see it be similar for mid quality streams.

Not sure mate i have a 4k tv i turn on the upscailing and it is as good as sat 1080 60 inch tv.

As far as i am aware only the sheild dose 4k upscailing. My tv dose aswell but compared to the sheild it is crap, as it dosen't have the processing power.

Check with your provider that you're using the recommended settings for whatever app they provide too. Simply turning on hardware decoding could make a big difference to the issue you're having.

I am also up for being converted here, as 4k IPTV sounds interesting?

Mine has been absolutely rubbish, buffers every time I try and watch any footie match, especially the big games. Does this happen to all or am I not doing something right or could it be my provider?
